Terms and Conditions 
1/ By taking out a Direct Debit with us, permitting a dog to attend or accepting the services of Ruffles the client is deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions, an up to date version can always be found on the website. 
 
2/ I, the client, give permission for Ruffles to act in my absence and take any action they deem necessary in the best interests of my dog. 
 
Direct Debit Rules: 
 
1/ Ruffles requires 1 month notice of cancellation. This should be given in writing via email to rufflesnottingham@googlemail.com The client agrees to either give this notice, or pay the amount that would be due in this notice period. 
 
2/ The Direct Debit accounts operate on a fixed monthly fee system- the client pays a fixed amount for a certain number of days per week or certain grooming or training services or provision of raw food. Ruffles factors into the monthly fee 2 weeks of ‘holiday allowance’ for Daycare Direct Debits. Therefore, if the client does not send their dog in for whatever reason (eg sickness or holiday) the monthly fee is still payable in full. Missed days will not be eligible for refund. 
 
3/ If a client wants to swap a day they must notify us by whatsapp group prior to missing the day and rebook it immediately within 1 calendar month. 
 
4/ Request for additional days must be made via the whatsapp group and will be charged as additional days on the client’s online account. 
 
5/ Direct Debits will all go through the Gocardless system.  
 
6/ Late collections will be chargeable at £5 between 7 and 7.15pm. At 7.15pm your dog will be taken home with a member of staff overnight and you will be charged for an overnight stay. You can then collect your dog from the staff members home or from Ruffles the next morning. If you know in advance you are going to be late- please call Ruffles on 01159589150 so that staff can plan. 
 
7/ The client will be charged for transport and veterinary fees if we take their dog to the vets for them. 
 
8/ Daycare bookings should ideally be given at least 24 hours in advance preferably via the WhatsApp group or you can call the Ruffles number directly. Last minute bookings on the day are subject to availability if maximum capacity has been reached. 
 
9/ If you have the same days every week, your dog will automatically be booked on these days. If you want varying days, it is up to the client to book in advance which days they want each week and they will be subject to availability. 
 
Cancellation Policy: 
 
1/ If you need to cancel a booking you have made please let us know as soon as possible. We are often fully booked with daycare, so if you forget to let us know it means another dog on the waitlist is unable to take your space. 
 
2/ Daycare cancellation: 
Anything up to and including the day before- No Charge 
The Morning of- before 8am- 25% charge 
After 8am on the day or No Show- Full Daycare Charge applicable. 
 
3/ Grooming cancellation: 
Anything up to 48 hours before- No charge 
24 hours before- 50% charge 
The day of or No Show- Full Charge applicable. 
 
4/ Home Boarding Cancellation: 
A week before- 25% Charge 
24 Hours or less Before drop off time- 50% Charge 
 
Limitation of Liability: 
 
1/ The client will take responsibility for any costs which may be incurred either veterinary or otherwise by damage/accident or sickness caused to or by their dog. 
 
2/ The client is advised to inform their pet insurance company of their daycare arrangements so as to ensure their pet is properly covered in event of any accident or illness. 
 
3/ Ruffles will make every attempt to protect the good health of dogs in our care but cannot accept liability for any accident/injury/illness a dog may sustain whilst in our care. There is an element of risk involved in group dog play and by bringing their dog to us, the client is showing that they understand and accept this. 
 
4/ The client gives permission for Ruffles to use the Vets of their choice (Vets4Pets Gamston) in the event of an emergency or out of hours provision with Vets Now. 
 
5/ The client gives permission for Ruffles to act in the best interests of their dog in an emergency although every attempt will be made to contact them ASAP. 
 
6/ It is the client’s responsibility to ensure their contact details are up to date with us. 
 
7/ The client has confirmed that their dog has no history of aggression to other dogs or people. 
 
8/ Should the dog be deemed unsuitable for Daycare either because of aggressive behaviour or because it isn't happy in a group environment, Ruffles reserve the right to cancel a subscription and withhold services with immediate effect. 
 
9/ The client agrees to ensure that their dog will be kept up to date with vaccinations and flea and worm treatment and that they will send us a screenshot of vaccinations when they get their boosters. 
 
10/ The client should be aware that there are many different strains of Kennel Cough and having had the vaccine does not guarantee that their dog will never get Kennel Cough. The client agrees to not bring their dog to day-care if their dog is showing signs of a cough or cold. Ruffles also reserves the right to refuse entry to any dog with suspected contagious disease. If a dog is suspected to be contagious whilst in our care they will be isolated and the owners contacted to arrange collection. 
 
11/ The client gives consent for their dogs image to be used in photo or video by Ruffles. (If this is not the case this should be stated in writing via email to rufflesnottingham@googlemail.com) 
 
12/ The client gives permission for Ruffles to administer their dog with any food or medication that they have provided themselves and labelled with the dogs name and any instructions. All food is to be supplied in tupperware with the dogs name and any instructions on it. Any unlabelled food will be binned. If the dog has any food allergies or sensitivities and/or you wish them to be fed nothing but their own food, it is the client's responsibility to inform Ruffles so that they are never given any treats during training sessions or doggy birthday cake etc. (If you have specific training treats you would prefer us to use, please bring them in in a secure container labelled with your dog's name.
