For regular daycare clients, we offer full Home Boarding services
This means your dog can come and stay in the home of one of our Ruffles Staff and be treated like one of our own while you are on holiday, or away for the night or the weekend or for any other reason. We operate this service 365 days and nights a year - so just let us know your requirements.
We recommend that you book well in advance for important dates as this service is very popular
and does get booked up.
*Your dog must have passed a daycare assessment and be happy in the daycare environment to be eligible for this service*
Your dog will be cared for exactly to your directions while you are away and they will have a great time! Depending on your dog's exercise requirements and the staff member's schedule, your dog will enjoy either a great day at daycare or a walk tailored to their preferences.
This can be on or off lead depending on your instructions and your dog's recall skills! (We have extra long leads for dogs that cannot be let off so they still get chance to run, sniff and explore.)
You will provide their usual food and they will be fed as per your instructions. In the evenings they will chill out with us at home either on the sofa or in a comfy bed or the floor whatever their choice is and be well loved by their Ruffles family.
At night they can sleep either downstairs, upstairs in the bedroom with us and either in or not in a crate- whatever their usual routine is.
Your dog will not be left alone at any time.
We will send you as many updates with pictures and videos as you can handle so you won't need to worry if your dog is having a good time.
Please contact us to discuss further or to book in for a one night trial so we can be sure they will settle in our home. If your dog passes their trial then you can book in for longer stays.
If you have a puppy or even an older dog we would advise that crate training gives them the best chance of being happy settling at someone else's house.
It is sometimes very difficult for a dog that is only used to sleeping in their owners bed to learn to settle at a new house.
A crate gives a dog their own safe space that can be transported with them and helps them feel secure and happy.
Please note, this service is only available to regular daycare clients and dependent on passing a One Night Trial.
Pricing
Price Per Night
£70 (25% deposit is required to confirm a stay)
Booking works in the same way as a hotel stay. Check in is after 1pm, Check out on the final day is before 1pm. An early check in or late check out is available for an additional charge. (£28)
If you have a daycare subscription, this works separately from any home boarding you book, so your daycare credits cannot be used towards this.
