Ruffles was created with the modern dog owner in mind, to give dogs fun, exercise, socialisation and mental stimulation and to end the stress on both dog and owner of leaving your dog at home alone for long periods of time.
Our Dog-Mad staff members are well trained in canine group dynamics to ensure that your dog has the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable experience possible. We have an array of enrichment activities for your dog to experience whilst at daycare, this includes, mental stimulation and sniffing games, basic training, toys, slides, tunnels, plenty of other dogs to play with and humans to love them and splash pools and fans to stay cool during the summer months.
We have three large play areas where the dogs have plenty of room to run and play. We designate playgroups depending on the dogs we have in on a particular day so that your dog will always be with suitable playmates of a similar energy level and play style.
Ruffles has been created specifically for the safety and enjoyment of dogs. Security is a top priority and there is a locked key coded door between the dog play area and reception so you can rest assured your dog is safe.
All dogs go through an initial assessment and induction process where we will assess their suitability for large group daycare. Ruffles is suitable for most sociable playful dogs of all shapes and sizes and even dogs that haven't been well socialised can often learn to become part of the group. Occasionally, it isn't the best option for a particular dog and we would always advise you of that and advise you of other options and recommendations, whether that is a dog walking service or a small home based daycare provider for a quieter life for a dog that doesn't enjoy large groups.
We pride ourselves on getting to know each and every dog as an individual and always striving to give them the best possible day when they are with us. When dogs are pulling their owners towards our front door, desperate to see their doggy friends and favourite Ruffles staff members, we know we are doing something right.

We always send you photo and video updates through the day when your dog is with us so you know exactly how they are doing and you don't need to ever worry.

FAQs
1. Where do the dogs go to the toilet?
A. We are a fully indoor centre and the dogs can relieve themselves inside. The floor is impervious and we use vet approved disinfectant to clean up any mess immediately. This environment does not mean the dogs will change their toilet training in your home. This is just like a dog park for them.
2. What will my dogs first day be like?
A. For every new dog we go through an assessment process by slowly introducing dogs to them in a separate area. We're well trained in recognising dogs social behaviour and we will work at your dogs own pace to gradually move them up into one of the playgroups. For some confident dogs this can be done very quickly, for less confident dogs a large group can be an overwhelming experience and their integration can be more of an ongoing process which we will keep you informed about.
If your dog is not happy in the daycare environment, we will call you to collect your dog and advise you on more suitable options.
3. At what age can you take Puppies?
A. We accept puppies from the age of 8 weeks old. As long as they've had their first set of vaccinations they are safe to attend daycare as every Ruffles dog is fully vaccinated.
4. What Vets do you use?
A. We are registered with Gamston Vets4Pets which is only 10 minutes drive away.
5. What's the feeding process at Ruffles?
A. If your dog needs to have food whilst in our care just bring the food in a tupperware box with their name labelled on it. We can store dry, wet or raw food. We feed lunches at approximately midday however if you have a different feeding routine just let us know and write the times on the box, we will be happy to feed according to your schedule. At feeding times, your dog will be separated from the group and fed on their own.
